What information do I need to submit?
- The full title of your submission (max 50 words)
- Your abstract (max 400 words).
- If you are submitting a case report abstract, please include the following information: Introduction, Clinical Description, Discussion and Conclusion
- Permission from all authors, and any patients, to submit the abstract
- Names of all authors (up to a maximum of 10)
- Affiliations of all authors
- Name and main email address of the presenting author
When are changed allowed until?
Once the submission deadline has passed then no further amendments to your abstract are possible. Please take the time to ensure that all the information in your abstract is correct.
Can my colleague present my work instead?
We recommend that the person submitting the abstract is the main author who will be presenting. However, any of the other named authors on the abstract can present if the main author is unable to attend
- The text must be formatted in Ariel font size 10. Only the title,abbreviations and acronyms should be in ALL CAPS.
- Abbreviations should be defined.
- Please write concisely and clearly and structure your abstract with the headings:
Problem statement
Methods
Results
Conclusion
- Please ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammar or scientific errors, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proofreading will be done. Linguistic accuracy is the responsibility of the submitter.
- Abstract submissions that do not meet the above noted guidelines may be rejected.
- Please include Disclosure of Interest, if any, at the end of the abstract body
- The Organizing Committee may request additional information about abstracts.
How do I prepare my ePoster?
- You must first prepare a poster prior to uploading your ePoster.
- Prepare a one page poster document in PowerPoint or Word. You can download templates to prepare an e poster.
- Turn your document into JPG file format.
Layout: Landscape
Size of Poster: maximum 2 slides.
File Format: JPG in order to upload the ePoster
Pictures and graphs/tables: Pictures, graphs/tables can be included in the file
- All e-Posters accepted for presentation will be shown on dedicated screens
- Time: you will be given 3-4 minutes for presentation followed by questioning
Judging Criteria
- The judgment will be done by Board of Jury.
- When the competition is being conducted, each participant should be ready in front of his/her poster to answer all questions from the judges.
- You will be given total 5-7 minutes to present your poster including questions and answers. Judges may pose questions during the evaluation of the poster.
- The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of the conference. Apart from the judging time you may also be present at the poster to share your research with interested delegates.
- The judge’s decision will be final and no clarification will be given.
